Wheelchair and Buggy Access
The Carriage Museum has wheelchair and buggy access to the ground floor. The building is listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and so we are not permitted to install a passenger lift. Instead, we are developing a short film to show you around the 1st floor, and images of the carriages are available to view in our collections pages. We have no buggy or wheelchair storage here.
Baby Changing
Unfortunately there are no toilets or baby changing facilities available. The nearest facilities are in The Mall Chequers Centre on Gabriels Hill. Our Stewards can direct you there. Please download our Museum Map to help plan your visit.
Parent and Child Parking
We have parent and child and disabled parking in front of the Carriage Museum.
