Car: From the M20 take junction 7 and head towards Maidstone Town Centre and Maidstone East Train Station. Follow the brown heritage signs.

Car Parking: The Fremlin Walk multi-storey car park is opposite Maidstone Museum.

Public Transport: Search for timetables by service number, destination or postcode.

Train: Our nearest train station is Maidstone East. The rear of the Museum is a 2 minute walk through Brenchley Gardens. If you travel via the Medway Valley Line, alight at Maidstone Barracks and take a 5 minute walk over the bridge, following the Maidstone East rail tracks to Maidstone East Station.

Shopmobility: Maidstone's Shop Mobility Scheme for disabled visitors.

Carriage Museum Open

The Carriage Museum is now open Wednesday to Sunday each week. In addition, it will also be open on the following Bank Holiday Mondays; 7 May, 4 Jun, Tues 5 Jun & 27 Aug. Admission charges apply.
