General Enquiries

We will shortly be starting a major project to refurbish and extend the Museum’s East Wing. A requirement of this project is that many of our collections currently housed in the East Wing must be removed to other collection stores. This is to allow the building work to start on schedule in Spring 2010. Our curatorial staff and their volunteers are engaged in packing and removing many thousands of items from this area. As a result our staff (Giles Guthrie - Keeper of Human History, Ed Jarzembowski - Keeper of Natural History and Fiona Woolley - Keeper of Fine & Applied Art)are unable to answer any enquiries at the moment. This is a temporary suspension of our busy service. Our sincere apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.

If you are not sure who you need to contact with your enquiry, then please
